Ted Mueller | Principal/Broker
Ted has been a licensed agent/broker since 2001. He started in real estate by selling investment properties; with a keen eye for value and the quantitative skills to crunch the numbers he had early success helping several people buy properties and execute the process of getting them leased up. Almost all of those properties are still owned and rented by his clients today. This activity eventually led to the same clients and referrals asking Ted to assist them with buying or selling their personal homes
In 2003, Ted realized he knew more about consulting clients on loans, and the loan process than the mortgage brokers who were working with them did. He saw this as an opportunity to get his mortgage license and assist clients with the financing on home purchases as well. This business took off and he soon found himself running a thriving mortgage company on a full time basis, while still doing some real estate transactions on a part time basis.
In 2011 he turned his focus back to real estate full time. He re-vitalized his old company 360 Real Estate with a new business model built around efficient technology, low overhead and 30% commission rebates for home buyers.
Ted moved to Austin from California in 1996, and subsequently attended graduate school at the University of Texas from 1997 – 1999. He has two young sons Brady (age 4) and Max (age 1) who have so much energy they are nick named “All Day” and “Non-Stop” respectively. He has been a Texas Football season ticket holder since 1999 and enjoys live music and boating on Lake Austin.
